Granville Police Report for February 2008

Each month at Granville Village Council's second meeting, the Granville Police Department reports on police activities during the previous month. Presented here is the report for February, 2008.

The Granville Police keep monthly records of the reported value of property stolen and recovered. These values include embezzlement and fraud as well as actual physical property. In 2007, the total value of stolen property was $84,996 while in 2006 the total was only $15,575. The year with the largest value of stolen property was 2005 with a record $419,375. So far in 2008, the total value of stolen property is $13,485. $9,165 was stolen in January and $4,320 in February.
