Township Leases Garage from Abraham’s Former Campaign Treasurer: See The Documents

2) September 24, 2007:  Letter from the Licking County Prosecuting Attorney Kenneth Oswalt requesting an opinion from the Ohio Ethics Commission and the Ohio Attorney General regarding Trustee Candidate Fred Abraham’s lease of garage space to Granville Township. Click here to view the letter.

Good deal. Hopefully, the Ohio AG signs off on it.

I doubt it matters *who* acts as the intermediary, as long as Abraham is removed from the direct conflict and / or appearance of any impropriety. As for Manos making money on the deal, I would suspect that any other arms' length transaction would be handled similarly. It's works out to a 4.3% "fee" for handling the transaction. Seems fair to all parties involved.

We need to let our elected officials get on with doing their jobs.
