People Showed Up But There Was No Meeting

The Granville Township Zoning Commission meeting that was scheduled for last night was apparently canceled, but who was told? Some citizens arrived for the meeting only to find that there wasn’t one. And, not even a note was posted.

Perhaps the Township could find a better way of:

► Announcing meetings and their cancellations.

► Posting agendas a few days before meetings.

► Posting minutes of meetings sooner than months later.

► Providing for an email notification list to the press and any interested citizen.

In other words, the Township should provide services just as any modern government agency does.

Certainly the Village and the School District are able to provide these kinds of services.
